  • New Via Ferrata in Les Gentianes. Two brand-new routes – one aerial, the other less demanding – that take you to an altitude of over 3,000 metres surrounded by a fantastic alpine panorama!

    Route Edelweiss (Blue):

    The route 1 is accessible to children from 8 years of age, as long as they are accompanied by a professional.

    To climb the Via Ferrata, you’ll need a helmet, harness and lanyards.
    You can rent equipment and buy your lift pass online.

    WARNING: for security reasons, the sets are only intended for people who have a weight between 50kg-100kg.

    Hiring a guide is not essential. However, if you do not have extensive experience in this sport, they charge by the day, in the same way as on guided climbing trips. Do not hesitate to contact the Verbier mountain guides office for more information!

    The two routes are equipped with an “aéroligne” lifeline safety system which prevents improper usage and restricts the risks for users.

    How to get there:
    o From the top station of “Le Jumbo” cable car if you come from Verbier.
    o From Nendaz, take the Siviez-Tortin chairlift and then the Tortin-Gentianes lift.
    o The Via Ferrata is free to use. Only the lifts and rental have to be paid for.

    VIP Pass holders benefit from reduction on their lift pass.

    Minimum recommended size and age : 140 cm / 8 years old.
    Weight : between 50 kg and 100 kg.

    No equipment rental and the wearing of gloves is mandatory.
    Beginners and groups with children are strongly advised to use the services of a professional.
