Enjoy and stay safe

In the mountains, the natural environement is inherently hazardous. The autors of this page cannot be held liable in any way for the route recommendations and information provided. However, good preparation can mitigate risks and enable you to make the right decisions at the right time.

If in doubt, do not hesitate to cancel or turn back. There are plenty of days with good conditions 😉

Inspire. Ride. Repeat.

In Verbier, inspiration doesn’t come from a slogan: it comes from a glistening slope, a shifting wind, a choice to be made. Freeriding is about reading the mountain in real time and keeping a cool head when everything speeds up. Our ambassadors share their perspective on this raw terrain: lines that matter, moments that leave their mark, and that pure energy that can only be found here.

Xavier de le Rue
Xavier de le Rue is inseparable from Verbier. A resident of the resort and multiple winner of the Verbier Xtreme, he has made Bec des Rosses his playground. His committed and precise riding embodies the freeride spirit of Verbier and has elevated him to the ranks of the world's leading extreme snowboarders.
Géraldine Fasnacht
Géraldine is altitude in lucid mode. A freeride snowboarder, she made her mark on the scene with victories at Xtreme Verbier, then stayed the course on the international Freeride World Tour circuit. Today, she navigates between snow and air: wingsuits, ultralights, wild lines when the mountains open a window. Her thing isn't the show, it's precision, risk management, and the calm that holds when everything speeds up.

After sliding

When the mountains calm down, the resort comes alive. Glasses up, smiles wide, music in the background.

If you want to gain altitude and discover snow-capped peaks and untouched slopes, you can hire a mountain guide and book a helicopter flight that will quickly take you to the starting point of your route. What’s more, the view from the cockpit is spectacular.
