  • The Opening Session event marks the start of the 2023/2024 winter season! What is the concept? Come to the Verbier ski area dressed as St. Nicholas.

  • An event that combines fancy dress, festivities and skiing! For the occasion, the price of a day’s skiing is just CHF 5 for anyone wearing their best St. Nicholas costume.

The programme for the day begins early in the morning with a free train (in collaboration with RegionAlps) departing from Geneva and stopping at all the main towns between Geneva and Le Châble. You can look forward to coffee and croissants aboard this special train, at Le Châble train station and at the cable car...

The programme for the day begins early in the morning with a free train (in collaboration with RegionAlps) departing from Geneva and stopping at all the main towns between Geneva and Le Châble. You can look forward to coffee and croissants aboard this special train, at Le Châble train station and at the cable car station in Verbier (Médran).

After a few runs down the ski slopes, don’t miss the traditional get-together on the slopes to enjoy Happy Hour with music from DJ Valentin Stutz. The party continues at Médran Café with free cocktails for all the Saint Nicholas who can wiggle their hips to the rhythm of the DJ’s set.

Capacity is limited to 2.000 participants, and tickets can only be purchased online. The ticketing will be available online soon; follow us on Facebook to ensure you don't miss out on your spot!

Do you prefer to come by public transport? A free train from Geneva will connect the main cities of the Lake Geneva region to Le Châble.

★ This event supports Fondation Planètes Enfants malades, whose mission is to improve and brighten the daily lives of children and adolescents in the hospital, primarily active within the pediatric services of CHUV in Lausanne.
