Description
A fairly technical trail route, ideal for runners seeking nature, elevation gain and stunning Alpine panoramas.
Starting in Liddes, the route follows a beautiful trail that gradually climbs through the forest to the hamlet of Vichères. The trail then continues along the Bavon ridge, alternating between short descents and more challenging climbs until reaching La Chaux.
Once there, take a moment to catch your breath and enjoy exceptional panoramic views of the Swiss, French and Italian Alps, in the heart of the protected Val Ferret area. The loop finishes with a steep descent towards Liddes, with the majestic Grand Combin in sight.
