Description
This picturesque route opens the door to the villages of the valley where you can enjoy a welcome stop.
A varied 21-kilometre loop linking several villages in the Val de Bagnes, offering a blend of heritage, nature and alpine atmosphere. Starting from Le Châble, the route passes through Les Vernays, Sarreyer, Lourtier, Champsec and Bruson, alternating between forest tracks, footpaths and sections alongside the bisses.
Suitable for most runners, the route features just two steeper climbs: from Le Châble to Fontenelle, and then between Champsec and the Bisse des Ravines. Along the way, enjoy the fountains at Sarreyer, a break by the bisse with Verbier as a backdrop, and the sculptures in the Sculpture Park that dot part of the route. A run that’s as enjoyable for the exercise as it is for the scenery.
