The traditional communal oven dates from 1905.
In Vollèges, a community of enthusiasts has made the most of this old bakery, which is still in operation, to create a space dedicated to the flavours of yesteryear. Fratzes sausages, Cressin and rye bread are among their recipes, designed to preserve the region’s traditional culinary expertise.
Local produce available to order: Baked in a wood-fired oven, in the traditional way, our breads embody local excellence. Available to take away when fresh from the communal oven in Vollèges.
