The Lac de Louvie is the only one where fishing is permitted, in Haut Val de Bagnes.
This lac is supplied with rainbow trout on an annual basis. Fishing permits are available from the caretaker at the Louvie's mountain hut. Most of the other lakes in Haut Val de Bagnes are private.
The Lac de Louvie as well as the nearby stables and îtres, are part of the Inventory of Cultural Property of National Importance.
